This president has more to overcome than most. Because he is an outsider, he doesn’t understand or follow political protocol. He makes things happen rather than convening delegations to talk about what needs to be done then waiting for something to begin happening.

Mistakes? Yes. That’s not at all uncommon when advancing new programs or ideas. Mistakes can be and are corrected. Calling them “unintended consequences”, dismissing them and moving forward is wrong on every level. The ACA is a prime example. It was wrong from the beginning. It was costly and offered less care than insurance companies allowed prior. Doing nothing is safe and prolongs political careers, but accomplishes nothing else.

It’s now far beyond party politics. This is anarchy. This is riotous rebellion. There is no other excuse for the foolishness taking place in Washington, D.C. and around the country. The entrenched Washington establishment hates change. That’s why it takes so long for conventional channels to effect anything beneficial. When little happens, there are fewer unintended consequences and the ignorant masses won’t see any difference…to appreciate or protest. Therefore, those in office stay in office and continue feeding their own pockets.

The Ninth Circus recently made another of their now infamous bonehead decisions. They, again, made a political statement in favor of rainbows and perceived harmony instead of homeland security. The written opinion, meant to justify the decision, illustrated that it was not a constitutional or even a logical decision. It was purely political.

The news agencies are out to get the president, his staff, his advisers and his confirmed department heads. Because they parse his every word to benefit their preconceived agenda, Sean Spicer skips questions from many of the leftist news-maker-uppers. When not called upon in recent press briefings, they became even louder and more malevolent using comparisons to Hitler and the Taliban in their talk programs and opinion columns hoping to win greater access and favor. DUH!

Much, if not all, of this is due to the fact that President Trump is a political outsider. He is learning the ropes and he’s learning who’s dangling them in front of him. Talk of impeachment began shortly after he won the election! Thus, it may take a bit longer for things to settle. None the less, he will dodge the alligators as he removes their habitat.

The left, the media (redundancy noted), the right and even the apolitical bureaucrats don’t yet understand his non-governmental style. They are not used to getting things done rapidly. The civil servant desk jockeys, in particular, are not familiar with justifying their pay by accomplishing tasks within a reasonable time.  They too are balking at the new administration.  The first 100 days will be primarily the sorting and filing firing days.
