Recent attacks against the president elect are now attacking the basis upon which the US was founded. Two recent articles by writer Randy Deabay illustrate this point. His most recent works, found here and here,  show an incredible disdain for the will of the majority and the American people

Deabay’s articles and his comments try to intimidate, accusing those who agree with Trump of fascism. But then he demonstrates incredible ignorance (or sly denial) of what fascism even means. It is the same tactic as MSM — lie about others, threaten and bully them, then blame the opponent of doing it to you to try to gain the “moral high ground.”

It doesn’t work. Transparency works in favor of the truth. When people like Deabay attack ad hominem, people start looking at the source. And the source for the quote above is a comment in this article accusing President Trump of treason.

Both this article and the article just cited should be read and cited, so that the new president can see the tactics of students of Alinsky on a personal level.

Deabay’s article and comments appear to come right out of Saul Alinsky’s 12 Rules for Radicals, a sheet designed to do everything to the opponent, except counter his valid arguments with original thought.

Here is the complete list from Alinsky.

“RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy
thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and
people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood.

RULE 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It
results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the
backbone of anyone.

RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the
enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.

RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the
rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can
kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own
rules.

RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no
defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key
pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep
doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their
thing, and will even suggest better ones.

RULE 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t
become old news.

RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new
things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one
approach, hit them from the flank with something new.

RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing
itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than
any activist.

RULE 10: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push
through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the
public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.

RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive
alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught
without a solution to the problem.

RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize
it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy.
Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than
institutions.”

It is all a tactic based on malicious, baseless ad hominem attacks, innuendo and calumny designed to discredit the opponents without having to disprove what he said. It is a tactic based on bunk, lies, misinformation, misdirection and disinformation. The fallacies that back such lies are argumentum ad hominem, ad baculum, ad verecundiam, ad nauseum — discredit the person and not his argument, or I’ll beat you up, because I’m an expert, and will continue to tell you lies until you say you believe it is true.

Bunk. Find the truth for yourself. Don’t be bullied, his power and judgment is no more or better than yours. No matter how often anyone repeats a lie, it will not become truth. You know it, I know it.

But, if we don’t defend the truth, their lies will be generally accepted. That is their tactic, that’s what MSM counts on. Don’t take it any more.
