‘Palestine’ is not a recognized country in its own right, yet it is trying to make yet another illicit grab for property owned by Israel!
Fresh from its success at getting Jerusalem erased from genuine history, ‘Palestine’ is now trying to get UNESCO to force Israel to hand over the Dead Sea Scrolls! All the PA has to do is stamp its foot and all things are given to shut the screaming child up. It is yet another attempt to remove Israel and Jews from history, by illicit redaction and lies. (Israel Radio, 5th Nov).

The Dead Sea Scrolls are factual and weighty archaeological evidence of the presence of the Jewish people in the Land of Israel.” (Ambassador to UNESCO, Carmel Shama-Hacohen).
‘Palestine’ is resorting to a sleight of hand, by using the Intergovernmental Committee for Promoting the Return of Cultural Property to its Countries of Origin or its Restitution in Case of Illicit Appropriation – what a mouthful! And this body is an adviser to UNESCO. So, guess the likely outcome! (Jerusalem Post).
At the time of the find (1947-1956), Qumran, near the Dead Sea, was under British and then Jordanian rule. So, how can ‘Palestine’, which did not exist then as a country, as it does not exist today, lay ANY claim to the Scrolls? The same area is now Area C of the West Bank – which is ruled by Israel. The only way they can claim it, is by applying their own foolish definition of the West Bank as ‘occupied territory’, even though it is a patently obvious lie and distortion of history and legal fact!
As we saw with the ridiculous UNESCO decision that Jerusalem and the Mount had NO Jewish connections, despite several thousand years of occupation by Jews, so ‘Palestine’ is pushing for a return of items NOT found on its land. It was found on land passed over to Israel by international treaty approved by Islamic countries. So, yet another Islamic fiasco begins.
The PA has already informally asked for help from UNESCO to bring about the transfer, and will formally repeat the claims next year. We can be assured that UNESCO has already set wheels in motion to continue its abysmal non-intellectual, anti-Jew, non-historical, illegal resolutions to obliterate Israel from not just existence, but from history. This should concern ALL who genuinely use their intellects and who know the PA is gliding along on puffs of smoke and illusion.
The UN (and its many splinter groups) is fully Marxist. The PA and Islam are both Fascist. Therefore, BOTH are equally offensive to mankind, being of a Stalinistic-Hitleresque socialist mind-set, based simply on hatred of Jews. It is about time these absurd activities were shot down in flames as soon as they appear, for no real academic or ethical politician can possibly condone claims built upon lies, deception and outright anti-intellectualism.
