The refugee camps are full and the Muslims there mistreat the Christians. Why are no Christians being allowed to go to the USA? We are angry! We want Trump to help us.
I am Yousif , a Christian Iraqi student. I lived in the Assyrian/Chaldean Christian city of Qaraquosh outside of Mosul (ancient Ninevah) until the attack of Daesh (ISIS) in August of 2015. ISIS came in and destroyed churches, monasteries, nuns’ homes, buildings, houses, schools and everything. We had to leave quickly to save our lives.
Some were captured and killed or sold into slavery. Many went to live in Irbil in the Kurdish area. The Kurds are helping us. Unfortunately, some of our Sunni Arab neighbors welcomed ISIS and stole our houses and belongings and even bought girls.
More than 2 years we have waited for help from the world. No one will give us refuge. Some good Christian groups send us aid. The church here pays half our rent.
Living in Iraq now is like living in Hell. Everyone afraid, few jobs, no money, and we are waiting for the world to help. The West does a war in Iraq and then leaves us alone.

Two Christian towns, Karmales and Bartila have been freed but are not safe. There are ISIS snipers. People are unhappy because they see how their homes and lives were destroyed. My uncles are fighting with the 400+ man Christian NPU (Nineveh Protection Units) which is fighting alongside the Kurds and Iraq army against ISIS in a battle in Qaraquosh. The soldiers are kissing the floor. They are singing in Aramaic, the language of Jesus. The Kurdish Peshmerga army is being kind to us and the Iraqi army is mixed with Sunni Arabs but they respect us. They all hate the evil Daesh. We need more help from America, please.

The battle for Mosul and the Ninevah Plains has Americans helping us but Daesh is capturing families and killing many men and boys. It will take many months of fighting. We need USA airplanes’ help.
I want to ask everyone to ask there to help us and pray for us so we can live in peace, like the rest of the world.
Yousif al-kassab is artistic and makes airplane models from scratch. He is an outstanding student and would like to study to be a pilot in a free and safe Iraq. If that is not possible, he would like to come to the USA, the land of freedom. Maybe even be in the US Air Force, protecting peace in the world. There are over 100,000 Christians with American sponsors waiting for the USA to allow them asylum. They are the indigenous people of Iraq, before the Arab Imperialism.
